I. Hoisting Tests:


No-load test run: When the electric hoist is raised or lowered along the beam and stopped at any height, there must be no downward slippage; the upper limit position of the hoist must be calibrated, and the accuracy of the limit switch position verified.


Rated load test: Before testing, the four movable outriggers must be extended, and the screw jacks tightened against the ground; only then may the rated load test proceed. Under rated load, the hoist must not slip downward when stopped at any position. A test lift must be performed with the hoist positioned at the outer end of the beam (i.e., at the maximum slewing radius) for 10 minutes; the downward deflection measured must not exceed L/125. No permanent (plastic) deformation should remain after the load is removed.


II. Electric Hoist Operation Test:


The electric hoist must operate smoothly when traversing left and right along the beam. The slewing jib beam must rotate flexibly and steadily without vibration; it must remain stationary at any position without self-drifting, and the outer end should exhibit an upward deflection of L/125.


III. Crane No-load Operation Test:


Before the operation test, the four movable outriggers should be retracted toward the base. The crane must perform straight-line travel and directional changes without a load; operation should be smooth and quiet, with the ability to stop accurately at the required position.


Mobile Jib Crane


Installation:


Before installation, check components and documentation against the packing list to ensure nothing is missing or lost and that there is no damage. (Note: Rotating parts stored for more than six months generally require cleaning and the application of fresh lubricant before installation.)


During installation, ensure the slewing arm remains horizontal and the vertical column remains upright; no tilting is permitted. The rollers must make uniform contact with the raceway, and all rotating mechanisms must operate flexibly. To install the jib arm, first assemble the top of the mast. Next, bolt the mast to the base and verify its verticality. Then, hoist the jib arm into position at the top of the mast, level it, and tighten the bolts. Finally, install the counterweight and the electric hoist.


Regarding the power supply: power is routed through a slip ring within a cable-reeling device mounted on the base into the base-mounted electrical control box. From there, it connects via cable to a slip ring at the top of the mast, which in turn connects to the electric hoist's power cable. Power for the gear reducer located at the lower part of the base is supplied directly from the electrical control box.
